In detail
The RTX 5070 Ti is built on Blackwell: 8960 CUDA cores, a 256-bit bus and 16 GB of GDDR7. The memory figure matters more than it looks. High-resolution textures and ray tracing consume VRAM quickly, and 12 GB cards already hit the ceiling in some titles today. 16 GB is headroom measured in years.
Its target is 1440p at maximum settings with ray tracing on. It will drive 4K as well, though there you lean on DLSS with frame generation, which is a deliberate trade rather than a shortcoming.
For professional work the ninth-generation NVENC encoders matter: video export and streaming come off the processor entirely. It draws 300 W, so budget a 750 W supply and a case it physically fits. Power is 12V-2x6, adapter included.
